Dervely Kennels was founded in 1976 by Joan Booth and together with her daughters Karen Evans & Lynne Ruddle and Karen’s daughter Jessica, have built up a highly reputable Cocker Spaniel kennel. 

Producing good quality puppies, line bred over 10 generations, we have produced some 40 show champions through the Kennel Union of Southern Africa. Our puppies are bred from both champion and imported stock, and we continuously import dogs from renowned kennels from all over the world to keep a high standard and quality breeding program running. Our dogs are all health tested for hereditary diseases. 

We bring happiness to many owners (with countless repeat customers!) who take ownership of puppies that are of superb quality with fantastic temperaments. They are excellent with children and other dogs.

Over the years we have produced the following colours - (parti-colours) Blue Roan, Blue Roan & Tan, Chocolate Roan, Liver Roan, Liver Roan & Tan, Orange Roan, Black & White, Black/White & Tan and (solid colours) Chocolate, Black, Golden, Black & Tan (All approved by Kennel Union)

Based in Benoni (Gauteng) this joint kennel has a sound reputation. 

Puppies are occasionally available for sale. Our puppies are vaccinated and dewormed up until the owner takes responsibility for them at 8 weeks onwards. Delivery of pups to other areas can be organized.

The legals

The kennel name, "Dervely" is registered with KUSA. 

We provide our new owners with Kennel Union registration papers (which includes breeding restrictions), Veterinary vaccination cards, and information sheets for feeding and kennel history. All puppies are sold with a contract.  A microchip is implanted before the puppy leaves our care.

A video call can be arranged if we have puppies, if you are unable to visit.
